Much to the delight of fans of both her Italian origins and her strong Indian culture, Gioconda was seen lighting a traditional diya lamp to add the festive spirit to the expensive brand’s atmosphere. Gioconda Vesichelli Shares Her Love for Diwali Festival The famous soul singer with an open mind, Gioconda Vesichelli has expressed her great love for Diwali, which as a creative festival, inspires her to the greatest extent. Blessing the tradition of lighting lamps made of clay she said how each light is like a lamp, with life, vitality, and purity residing in each corner of the world. The Italian singer is so attracted by Indian culture, that she has done two dippings in the Ganga river at Khumb Mela and she never misses being present in India for Diwali celebrations. Thanks to the privileged relations, due to which I got the chance to interview Gioconda personally in her hotel in JW Marriott Juhu (where sipping tea together in front of a beautiful sea view, she has revealed to us her feelings for Diwali. “I love so much Diwali festival because there is light all around and it's the celebration of prosperity, where everyone should recognize to himself/herself the right to pamper himself/herself with all the richest things hoped. Life is one! And it should be enjoyed at its fullest! With no regrets and no guilty feelings because when you are in the positive light and positive wave of energy only good things will happen on your path..you just have to be confident enough and immerse totally yourself in whatever is your passion! That's s why I love Diwali! because it reminds me about that! Cheers! “ During the interview, Gioconda shares how the soul of India is close to her heart and she shares the story of when she first stepped on Indian soil. She described how the Indian land was not only speaking to her past lives but truly welcoming her and encouraging her to tightly embrace the culture of the land as well. In her big-heartedness, Gioconda described Diwali as the Festival of Lights, of indulgence, of prosperity, and most importantly of self-appreciation. Gazing at the vast ocean view at JW Marriott Juhu, she talked to me about the ability to share positive energy and letting everyone be as confident as one is passionate about something.
